Dale Darr Obituary

Dale Edward Darr, 72, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born March 1, 1952, in Evansville to Earnest E. Darr and Bonnie J. (Clayton) Petty. They preceded him in death along with his niece, Juanita Smith.

Dale was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. In the early days he sold cars for Breeze Motors. He worked at B&W, GAF, and started his own successful business of Darr’s Painting and Remolding.

He leaves behind on son, Ryan (Aley) E. Darr, two grandchildren, Ringo and Della Rae; step grandchild, Leila Day; brothers, Charles “Chuck” Hester, and Larry (Leslie) Hester; sisters, Jean (Mike) Cummings, Sheila (Donis) Watts, and Amy Hester; and several nieces and nephews.
