Memorable funeral services

Funeral services do not need to be expensive to be meaningful and personal. We believe it is important and encourage each family to personalize their service; use of pictures, scrapbooks, memorabilia, special flowers, sharing memories, favorite music and even videos are ways of personalizing the service and honoring the loved one.

Types of funeral services

Traditional services consist of a visitation either the night before the funeral or one to two hours prior to the service; the body is present and there is a burial.

Cremation services may be held in much the same manner as a traditional service, with the cremation occurring after the funeral, and burial of the ashes at a later date.

With direct cremation, a memorial service may still be held along with the internment of the ashes or the family may choose to keep possession of the ashes.

Our services

We will assist you in notifying Social Security, filing for insurance and veteran benefits, obtain the certified copies of the death certificate, etc. if a memorial is suggested, we make sure that funds collected are recorded and gotten to the named organization.(a list of donors and addresses, if available, is provided to the family)

In the case of an out of town death, contact us first and we will make arrangements for the preparation of the body and transportation. By doing this, you will not be billed by two funeral homes and can usually save money.
